My New Book

My latest adventure has been in compiling and creating a modest book about my days filming and chronicling photographically the Schooner Bill of Rights from 1971 when it was being built, to a summer cruise around the Elizabeth Islands off the south western coast of Massachusetts later that summer. Memorable images can be seen throughout, as well as an account of the building and launch in South Bristol, Maine, at the legendary Harvey T. Gamage Shipyard.

The new book can be seen in the right hand side bar at the very top. Click on it to view the entire book, and see some of my favorite images taken of that summer. Click on the words Book Preview, and you will be there!

Busy Two Weeks

I was surprised and happy to discover that two of my 'Country' images were selected as features at RedBubble.  The first image of the Pumpkin Stand is also now a Permanent Feature too at Art Universe.

The image at the right was featured the same
day in Superbly Visual.

Book Report

The final version of the book has been completed, and I must say it was a labor of love that took a little over 6 months to complete [April to October].  The images and comments are from my own files, enhanced by quite a few anecdotes, and stories from various members of the 'cast' of people who are the Pioneers of Ch. 12 TV and also those from WPRO Radio.

Anotherr Quick Feature!

One of my favorite duck photos has been chosen as a feature in Artists Universe  at my new RedBubble Gallery.  Exciting because this is only my first week with the on-line international Art Gallery.

Back to blogging

Pocketbook Flowers
After quite a delay, I decided to post here to say that I have also joined RedBubble, as a way of showcasing some of my photos.  Since I only joined last week, I have entered several of my more generic photos.  One of them named 'Pocketbook Flowers', was quickly chosen as a Permanent Feature  in a great group named Artists Universe. Quite a surprising start to a new venture.
